With my morning cawfee…™

Well, there’s a lot of backstory to why I haven’t been blogging up a storm, but I really don’t feel like getting into it. I’ll simply allude to a situation that includes depression, a pulled chest muscle that makes it feel like a heart attack in progress, heat, and general apathy.

I’ve caught up with Tyger, from when I was in high school. That’s a good thing, even though life hasn’t been kind to him (as he’s filling me in on what’s been going on with his life over the past 20 years).

I’m supposed to be having coffee with Coffeemate tomorrow evening; I’ll txt to find out and confirm.

We’ve appeared to have settled into the hazy/hot/humid routine with a thunderstorm in the afternoon. It’s interesting. I was writing a story called “All this time I thought…” (you may recall me mentioning it earlier in the year) back in 1997, and in the original notes of the book, I made mention of Coliseum Mall being scrapped and replaced with a different type of retail. Who would have thought that 10 years later, it would be a reality.

I had good intentions on blogging last night when I got home from all my errands, but…. what happened? I walked in, barely had the strength to say hello to Tink, and crawled into bed. Yeah, it meant I was in bed before 8, and woke up about 5:30. Time now to make breakfast and get moving.
