You never developed personal relationships, did you?
Tink made the mistake of checking the blog of the personal formerly known as her boyfriend at the behest of our friend Revog because obviously he’s a glutten for punishment — not only did he blog saying it was “nice knowing he no longer needed to settle” (excuse me, dude, but this is NOT the way to behave if you had TRULY wanted to be friends after the breakup), but he attempted to contact Tink after making this statement (again, excuse me, but what makes you think she’d “settle” for having you as a friend since you put out to the world how you really felt???), to which she was honest — stating that she was hurt and disillusioned.
So, instead of just leaving well enough alone, he goes and posts that he’s “very hurt” over this.
Excuse me?
Since comments are moderated on his blog, Revog left the following which probably won’t show up:
First off, some things are meant to be blogged about, others are not. You promoted honesty and building a relationship, yet post on your blog that you found someone else, so to hell with the current person you are seeing. Tell them one thing AT A PARTY (there are much better times and places to do it at) and then post ON YOUR BLOG that you have been talking with someone else. Hello????? You don’t see an issue here? Blog about what you want, but airing personal items to that level of detail for the world to see and KNOWING that she would see it???? that’s just rude and tacky in ANY situation. That isn’t friendship in any format and my recommendation to you is to be more honest upfront and say what you mean. Then work on your tact and timing as you took a bad time for someone and just said “i’m telling you i’m here for you, but don’t really mean it”.
Blogs can be a useful thing, however, remember that you may as well be publishing your personal life on the front page of your local paper — it’s one thing to be honest and open, but it’s another thing completely to be honest online when it does more harm than good.
They say with age comes wisdom. I do hope so. No one should have to go through the pain that he casued Tink over this.

If Darwin’s theory of natural selection (other wise known as “too dumb to live”) is correct, surely some woman would have run him over a few times with a truck by now. . . Of course, I’m sure some people have wondered how I’ve made it this far without meeting the same fate!
