Anger Management Edition.

1. What really “burns your biscuits”?

2. How to you express your anger?

3. Does internalization of anger cause, in your opinion, health issues?

4. Can anger be beneficial?

5. If you say some things in anger and feel the need to apologize, do you? How?

6. If someone angers you and THEY apologize, what does it take for you to accept?

7. Is there something beyond being angry (i.e., is being “pissed off” beyond the anger setting)?

8. How do you control your temper/anger?

9. Do you carry a grudge? If so, for how long (normally)?

    1. -Slow play on the golf course.
    2. -by playing 36 holes of golf in one day
    3. -yes, but not if you let your anger out on the golf course
    4. -yes, it can help you focus on your next golf shot after you hit one into the woods (or water or freeway)
    5. -by offering to buy the next round when the cart girl comes around or at the turn or at the 19th tee
    6. -to see them hit bogey or worse on the next hole (not really – I usually just accept the apology and try to move on
    7. -hmmm….yes…it is only experienced when I hit a snowman (8) on a par 3

    9. -grudge?!? what’s that? New type of club I should have in the bag? (but my wife tends to carry one now and a again and she can be stubborn as well)

    Yup

    4. Can anger be beneficial?

    Yup

    5. If you say some things in anger and feel the need to apologize, do you? How?

    Absolutely, although I have really worked on keeping my mouth shut in anger.If I slip, the apology is usually immediate.

    6. If someone angers you and THEY apologize, what does it take for you to accept?

    A sincere apology…meaning it’s not the third apology for the very same thing.

    7. Is there something beyond being angry (i.e., is being “pissed off” beyond the anger setting)?

    Nope

    8. How do you control your temper/anger?

    My music and talking to God

    9. Do you carry a grudge? If so, for how long (normally)?

    I try really hard not to and I think I’m usually successful.
