Revog pointed me to this article. Yes, the person was providing a free service, but he doesn’t understand why people are upset that he cut the service off without notification? Sounds like he is in need of more than a reality check.

Just added a blacklist program to WP to prevent spammers. While we haven’t had any problem yet, we’ll see if perfomance slows.
