Shenandoah Forester Update

Well, PoloRandy jetted down to Elizabeth City to take care of his ‘rents yard. Then he came back up here and we started tackling the outside.

For the first time in many MANY years (at least 7, for that’s as long as I’ve lived here, and the plants were well established before I moved in), both boxwoods that flanked the steps are GONE, several large, overgrown, wispy azaleas are history, the front hedge row has been severely cut back (more than 6 inches taken off its height) and the former ornamental plum tree (it died last year) finally came down. We’ve still got a lot of clean up to do, and three more shrubs to clear out, but overall, it’s a good, GOOD day.
