Loading ...CNN Reports: A toy gun from a Halloween costume caused a lockdown of a U.S. Capitol office building Thursday, police said. Capitol police said two women put bags through an X-ray machine and one of them contained a toy gun, which appeared to an officer to be a .38 revolver. “It appears to be an unusual set of Halloween circumstances,” Capitol Police Chief Terrance Gainer said.
Unusual, indeed. Screeners can’t tell the difference between a toy gun and the real thing.
