First and foremost, Happy Birthday Piper Man! I really enjoyed lunch today. I think you are going to make all of us proud. When did you get to be 21? I am not that old!
SB and i made a wonderful potato soup yesterday. Lots of leftovers too. Yum!
1.5 weeks until Celtic Mama comes up. 2 weeks until surgery. I have heard so many different stories.
Really a quiet weekend over all.
Don’t forget to change your clocks! It usually takes me a week or so to get used to the difference. It will be dark going to and from work now.
Mutts comics are growing on me. I am really liking them.
Some people remind me more and more cartoon characters every day.
It’s 8 pm and I am ready to sleep for the night

but apparently Hampton Roads Transportation buses have dispensations on traffic rules. Bus 2026 on route 44 at 4:15 today did something I got a ticket for last year. I turned left from Redgate Ave. on to Hampton Blvd. No I really didn’t see the sign there. But this bus did it like it was a normal thing. There are now 2 signs saying no left turns. Where are the cops when you want them around?

The best way to spend a night before Halloween. Watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! wrapped in a nice fuzzy blanket.
Downhill slides are not fun to watch.
Surgery is supposed to perform miracles for my sinuses. We’ll see…
Cold in the mornings, warm in the afternoons. Which do you dress for?
Virginia Beach is only 30 minutes away, why does that seem like so far?
Elections can’t be here soon enough. I am tired of the ads already. CNN had a blurb on that maybe Laura Bush might run for President. I guess if Hillary is running why not?
I need to finish a scarf thing so that I can work on a Christmas present and another blanket for babies.

It is finally raining here. Thank goodness, we need the rain.
The think that makes me think about not doing business with a company is what happened tonight. A new Nissan Pathfinder that had a Hall ( a big dealership in this area) dealer tag (101-273D) that was driving way out of line. I realize that a Pathfinder is supposed to go off road but this vehicle was on the left shoulder trying to get over when traffic was almost stopped for a disabled vehicle. I don’t know where it was in such a hurry too. After someone let the vehicle over it got in the in the right hand lane then tried to go up the right shoulder. Honestly, that type of driving is going to make me not buy a new vehicle from them if that is how the vehicles are driven while on the lot. It was for sale as it had the stickers on the window. I don’t want a vehicle that has been possibly abused in this way. Makes me wonder what else the vehicles have had done to them.

The Californians are having a time with these fires. Over half a million displaced. I hope most of the people who’s homes have been destroyed have good insurance.
I think Mark will be going home tonight on Dancing with the Stars.
What is up with traffic? It is taking 20 minutes extra to get to work in the mornings.
All these staph infections concern me. GH did gymnastics on the same mats as the wrestlers. I don’t think that those mats were ever cleaned, disinfected or anything. I don’t remember anyone getting life threatening diseases.

There is more to Richmond than I realized. I met some nice people as a part of an investment club.
Prime Outlets was busy Saturday. I spent 20 minutes looking for a parking spot and couldn’t find one.
I hope that the Californians come out of these fires healthy. You can always rebuild. You can’t replace your health.
Christmas is just around the corner. EEEK!
This sinus headache really needs to go away. I have had it since Friday.
Accreditation is not fun.

If you don’t know, the Southeast is in a drought. We haven’t had significant rain in ages. We are like 13 inches down on the year.
It amazes me that localities don’t plan better for this possibility. My hometown is dependent on a river, if it doesn’t rain upriver, the town is screwed. Virginia Beach transports water from a lake a hundred miles away. They have gallons of water to desalinate, but they elected to transport fresh water in. In Celtic Mam’s area
So what happens if the lakes dry up? or the rivers? Unfortunately, we havent found alternatives for water, like we have gas or electricity.

Ok, not alot happened this weekend so there isnt really a wrap up. This is just more of a things on my mind right now.
Even ugly industrial areas are pretty at night when you can only see the lights over the water.
Trust is something that some people apparently don’t give easily but expect from others.
Leading someone on demanding everything but giving nothing in return is not a way to start/make/keep a relationship.
Beer isn’t as fun when you know the wheat in it will make you stuffy.
I work with way too much paper. what happened to a paperless society?

Quiet weekend. Slept ALOT for some reason.
Why do some people ignore the obvious, even when it is shoved in their face?
Granny squares are not as simple as they look.
Knitting is still frustrating me.
Food Network really really needs to do some schedule rearranging. I do not mind watching Rachael, Ina, Paula et al, but seeing the same 2 episodes all week long is a bit ridiculous. I think we figured out that Food Network runs the same episode about 5 different times in a week. For example, the Quick Fix meals that is on right now, was on Saturday morning as we left for our errands.
Trying to be wheat free is frustrating. Sugar free is even worse.
I didn’t go out with 3rd date only. I sent him an email saying that I couldnt make the play but we could try again at some point. Silence since then.
