This post is going to go all over the place, so be warned.
Why are children dying from cancers? CNN ran an article about Miles Levin, a 18 year old who died Sunday from a rare type of cancer. I would go to his blog and read his thoughts. For an 18 year old, he was very mature. I can’t imagine what it is like graduating from high school and not being able to make any other plans because the doctors don’t see you living long enough to do any of it.
Instant messenger and email are good. But, they really miss the inflection of face to face or even phones have. I know lots of times things have been misinterpreted because a smile can’t be seen or heard, or tears either.
Surprises are wonderful things!
How can I put pairs of socks into the washer and come out with a sock without a match?

Nice weekend, had alot of fun.
Tall people need to remember those of us with shorter legs don’t like to run to keep up.
Gryphon is well worth the wait. Busch Gardens Europe has a winner there.
I think it is funny that Busch Gardens is now making people on roller coasters sit on the flip flop type shoes.
$10 just to park is a bit much.
This was date #3. I can give him a name now. Hmmm what will it be?
I think I truly am allergic to sweat. I started breaking out on Sunday on my arm. I have stripes on my feet where my shoes were.
Positive thinking is good.
Why do some people wait until the last minute to do things?
I need a big closet. I think I would hang up everything but undies and socks. I dislike folding clothes.
Ice cream is better if it is eaten outside as it melts.

I woke up this morning sicker than anything. Called Dad who just had to hear me and know it wasnt a good idea I go anywhere. Good news, I have lost 2 lbs today. Bad news, not alot has stayed down. I don’t kn ow if this is a flu, cold or what. It’s a good thing I have an appointment anyway for a check up on Monday.
So much for getting away this weekend….

Ahhh, August, the time I really question why I work at a college. The closer we get to the start of the semester, the lower intelligence levels seem to get.
I am getting away for some r and r this weekend. Dad asked when I was coming up and how could I refuse?

Here we are again at the end of a weekend. It went way too fast.
I am breaking out in hives with no rhyme or reason. Thank the Higher Powers for benadryl and Nature’s Fresh with Tea Tree oil in it.
Think beaded earrings, necklaces and bracelets would sell or are there too many people doing it already?
I can’t quite get the knack of this knitting thing. Switching the needles back and forth every row means I can’t get into a good rthym.
Buffalo chicken sausage is really good. Had it in sausage and in pizza.
My nieces are sounding so grown up.
Their mama (GH) looks good with contacts.
OK, benadryl is kicking in. Time for bed.
