I don’t know how it has happened, but somehow I have made it onto a very, very weird, mailing list. The Republican National Committee is sending me surveys, asking for money, and now some kooky church is sending me some paper prayer rug. I don’t know how I got on this list but I want off.
I will say that SB, PR and I are having alot of fun answering the republican surveys. We are definitely not giving them the answers they want.

NormallyI wouldn’t root for another CAA team, BUT since Mason is representing the conference so well in the Men’s NCAA tournament, I have to. Billy Packer and Jim Nantz owe this team an apology. They were very upset when the Selection Committee made them an at large bid. Mason made the Final Four today. This means out of 8 teams making it to the final men’s tournament games, the CAA is represented in both tournaments. Not bad for a mid-major conference.

1. What is the most powerful human emotion? Why?
Love, because it has so much power. There is also such a thin line between love and hate.
2. If you could talk to one person who is no longer in your life (either by moving or death) who would it be and why?
Either of my grandmothers. There are so many questions I have for them about their families that I didn’t get to know.
3. If you were awarded a year of dining out one night a week at only one restaurant, which one would it be?
Probably a place like Appleby’s that has a good selection, or Ruby Tuesday.
4. What is/was your favourite cartoon on TV?
Bugs Bunny the Kill the Rabbit one
5. Comedies/Dramas/Horror Flicks?
Charmed, in the earlier days, MASH
6. They say that dogs love unconditionally. Do you think it’s possible for humans to be the same way? Is that a good or bad thing?
I don’t think it is possible, as we all have some sort of bagage that comes with conditions
7. It is also said that your favourite music is most likely what you listened to when you were 13-14. Do you find this to be true?
Mostly, I alternate between 80′s songs and Celtic as faves.
8. Fast Food or Slow Food?
Slow food as it is usually better
9. Do you sometimes feel, with the web, email, blogs, newspapers, etc. that you suffer from information overload?
Yes, wars now are fought in the media as much as they are in a location. We don’t need to know what the President ate for breakfast.
10. Ask me something.
Why?

This week has been such a mess, I think today is Thursday, if it isn’t, then I am a day late or early…
Why is a quiet household still so noisy?
Why is it when I don’t feel good, it hurts to wear clothes?
My blister was worse than I thought, it now has a scab on it.
Why do I still think I need to dress decently for work? Some others don’t seem to trying.
How does 1 person generate so much laundry?
I have slept all day, why am I still sleepy?
The thought to carry you through the week….
GO ODU MEN! NIT FINAL FOUR HERE WE COME! SCREW THOSE WHO THINK MID-MAJOR CONFERENCES CAN’T PLAY WITH THE BIG BOYS!

Finally, here is the follow up to my date Saturday night. Maybe I shouldn’t call it a date, hmmm. OK, a little background here, Media Man and I have gone out several times in the past off and on for about 4 years now. He normally contacts me out of the blue wanting to see me again. I thought we had a nice time on Saturday night. I think it did go down hill after he asked to kiss me. I said yes, thinking simple kiss. Well, it was kissing, and he tried more but I didn’t let him.
I asked him to leave by saying that I was tired and still had alot to do that night and would be busy Sunday and wanted to get to bed sometime soon.
I asked him to email me that he got home safely. He did, but I guess the 3 hours back gave him too much time to think. I am kind of glad I got the kiss off below as he really wasn’t someone I wanted to see again anyway. (Politcal differences, religious differences, etc)
I am sorry for afterwards. In our own ways, we’ve both been in a “comfort zone” in the lives we’ve lived for awhile. I know for my own reasons, I need to break out or accept the life I currently live. Perhaps its the same for you . . . something to think about. What I did last night wasn’t my what I would consider “breaking out” but being stupid. Again, I’m sorry.
So what I got from this is I am a back up who was someone he could call when he was really lonley and now that won’t be happening any more. I can honestly say good! I don’t know why some of the men I have dated seem to think I am waiting around for them to get off their high horses and “come” back to me. I am not. I just am not finding men to get serious with yet.
If referring to comfort zones, if it that I like my life right now, yes. There are some things I want to change and it will happen.
Men! Essh!

Sorry, but if it hasn’t involved a round orange thing and people in shorts, I haven’t been thinking about it. 7 college basketball games in 3 days makes for not alot of time for other things.
I did tell you all about the play and the person I went with on Saturday as a part of my dating saga right? well there is now more…(oh the suspense!) but that will have to wait until tomorrow or later today depending on how you think.
